Thanks to the RSC for a fantastic performance of
Julius Caesar last night...and it only took me half the play to realize that it was indeed the Ides of March! They staged it with a sort of industrial warehouse feel, which certainly cut down on the set (scaffolding) and costumes (leather jackets take up less room than patrician togas) that they had to ship over from Britain. And was pretty powerful, what with all the yelling and flashing lights.
