So it wasn't
exactly a spur of the moment thing, since we'd been thinking about it for a while. But part of me really loves the "So what did you yesterday?", "Oh, we got married." sly surprise nature of it. We were pleasantly surprised by how special everything felt, and were both really touched by having such great family and friends celebrating with us on such short notice. Truly a superb day...quick stop by the courthouse, an afternoon in the botanical gardens, and a big get-together at our place in the evening. Thanks to everybody who helped take our happiness to the next level!
