apparently, maggie took us seriously the other day when we told her it was too early for her dinner and if she was hungry, to go catch herself a squirrell. alas, we have no pictures, but we did chase her around the backyard and living room (blast that doggie door!) with a squirrell carcass hanging from her mouth, to no avail. i think she found it already dead, and was determined to try to eat it. for those who are wondering, we found the solution...a good, healthy spray of water from the garden hose shocked her enough to drop her victim.
