(The Best) Macaroni & Cheese

Until I find a recipe just as good that uses "real" cheese, this will be my favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ziti (or pasta of choice)
  • 1 16oz. package Velveeta
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 1 quart milk (or slightly less)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook noodles according to package and drain. Return to pot.
  3. Add milk to cover slightly.
  4. Melt butter and whisk in flour until smooth. Add to pasta and milk.
  5. Melt in the cheese over low heat, stirring.
  6. Sread in 9x13" pan or deep dish and bake for 30 minutes. Broil slightly at end to brown top. Serve.
